V.I.T. will be conducting free screenings for preschool children (ages 3-4, who will not be 5 by Sept. 1st, 2026) who reside in the school district.
Participation in this screening is required for acceptance to the 2026-2027 V.I.T. preschool program.
The purpose of this screening is to provide parents with information regarding their child’s development in self-help skills, social/emotional development, speech and language, fine and gross motor skills, academic concepts, and hearing and vision. The results of the screening will be shared with families and will be used to identify children who may qualify for the program.

Staff from Early Beginnings will also be available on Thursday, March 26, from 12 pm-2 pm to conduct a developmental screening for children under 33 months of age.
